MNFST S-01/ Ocean Freight
Ocean freight to and from Pakistan
Logistika arranges full-container (FCL) and shared-container (LCL) ocean freight for importers and exporters moving cargo through Karachi. We book space with carriers, coordinate pickup and delivery, check the shipping documents and keep you informed until the cargo is delivered.
Sea freight is the most economical way to move volume over long distances. The trade-off is time, so good planning — the right container, realistic ready dates and complete paperwork — is what keeps an ocean shipment on schedule.
MNFST S-01.1/ What is included
What is included
Full container load (FCL)
A container used only for your cargo — 20', 40' and 40' high-cube, plus reefer and special equipment on request, subject to carrier availability.
Shared container (LCL)
Smaller shipments consolidated with other cargo, so you pay for the space you use rather than a whole container.
Port to port or door to door
From a simple port-to-port booking to pickup at the supplier and delivery to your premises, with partners handling the overseas end.
Documentation
Shipping instructions, bill of lading details and packing list checks, so the paperwork matches the cargo.
Customs on both ends
Export clearance at origin and import clearance in Pakistan arranged as part of the same shipment.
Milestone updates
Departure, transshipment and arrival updates from your coordinator, with early notice if a schedule changes.

MNFST S-01.4/ Questions
Ocean Freight: common questions
Should I ship FCL or LCL?
LCL is usually more economical for smaller volumes because you pay only for the space your cargo occupies. As volume grows, a full container becomes more cost-effective and keeps your cargo sealed for the whole journey with less handling. The break-even point depends on the route and rates at the time, so we compare both when quoting.
How long does ocean freight take?
It depends on the route, the carrier's schedule and whether the container is transshipped. As a general guide, Gulf ports are typically less than a week from Karachi, while Europe and North America typically take three to five weeks port to port. We confirm the actual schedule at booking.
Can you manage the whole shipment door to door?
Yes. Pickup, export clearance, ocean transport, import clearance and delivery can all be coordinated under one booking, with one point of contact.
